The Fight is On!

Friends of YouCanFreeUs….

This has been an incredible summer at YouCanFreeUs. The pictures above tell the story. You often hear about the horror of modern slavery, but today we share with you our victories. Often it looks like evil is winning the day, but these pictures tell a different story… We have realized that with persistence we can and we will win this battle, rescuing and restoring lives one life at a time.

It takes significant financial resources to rescue and provide rehabilitation to the beneficiaries that join YouCanFreeUs. We are able to do this because of the generous support of many like you. We would love to hear from you regarding ways you can partner with us.  Please contact us here

A big thank you from all of us at YouCanFreeUs.

We are making a special donation appeal through this newslettter.

We have an urgent need of an additional $10,000 in funding for October and we are counting on you.

Update from our work in Poland

We recently signed an agreement through the year 2020 to work with the Polish Prison Service to train staff and women in prison.  We have planned visits to 26 places where women are incarcerated. This strategy since 2018 has been to prevent vulnerable prison inmates who could be trafficked when they leave the prison system.

In Poland, YouCanFreeUs is partnering with the Association of Employment Agencies to provide training to entrepreneurs, employment agencies and victims of forced labor.  We then help victims to reintegrate successfully into the workforce with dignity.

Our Poland team has been granted access to a special internet search program to find the perpetrators and victims of human trafficking. Once we identify suspicious individuals, we then hand the information over to the Polish Police Department for investigation.
