YouCanFreeUs recently opened our Knowledge Centre in Kolkata, India. This is very special, as we just launched our operations in this city in 2022.
Our beautiful, state-of-the-art facility was designed to set a warm, welcoming tone with an open view setting and maximum emphasis on light and lighting. This unique learning space is in direct contrast to the dark environment our beneficiaries were kept in before their rescue.
Our beneficiaries will receive therapy, counselling, and life skills in this centre. It will also be a place for us to facilitate training on combating the evil of human trafficking.

We welcomed government dignitaries, NGOs, and friends committed to fighting modern slavery to the ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebration. Our staff in India are doing a fantastic job in Kolkata and are already at capacity in our first safehouse there; this beautiful learning space is truly a blessing to them and our beneficiaries.
